LAYHER SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM

 

Layher is the world’s largest producer of high quality and practically tested, German made modular scaffolding systems. The Layher modular scaffolding system is recognised for its speed, productivity, versatility and safety and has high use in the construction, mining, petrochemical, civil engineering and events sectors. The application and use of Layher scaffolding differs from other traditional scaffolding systems and requires specialised training of operators to be fully conversant on how to assemble and dismantle Layher products both safely and efficiently.

HiSkill is accredited and endorsed by Layher to provide product-specific familiarisation and education. The training is imparted by instructors who have the combination of a wealth of practical site experience and a detailed understanding of Layher’s products.

HiSkill presently offers two education courses to persons seeking to attain skills in inspecting, erecting, altering and dismantling Layher scaffolding.


Layher Education Course – Product Familiarisation

DURATION: 2 Days

PRE-REQUISITES: Attendees must hold a current Intermediate High Risk License.

ATTENDEES: This course is aimed at experienced Scaffolders and familiarises the participants with the safety features and efficient and correct use of the Layher Allround scaffolding product.

This course is essential for any scaffolder that is about to commence working with Layher and has limited or no exposure to the product.

OBJECTIVES: To provide the basic skills and an understanding of Layher Scaffold to allow Scaffolders to erect, maintain and dismantle Layher Scaffold Systems.


Advanced Education Courses – Advanced Scaffolding Techniques

DURATION: 10 Days comprehensive training course on “Layher Advanced”.

PRE-REQUISITES: All Students must hold a minimum of an Intermediate Scaffolding High Risk Work Licence and have already completed the 2 Day Layher Education Course.

ATTENDEES: This course is aimed at experienced Scaffolders and provides the participant with thought knowledge and practical experience using Layher Allround scaffolding product. This course is essential for any scaffolder that is about to commence working with Layher and has limited exposure to the product.

Layher equipment is recognised as being more efficient, safer and achieves greater productivity which is what all leading organisations are seeking to enhance productivity. Understanding the particulars of how this equipment operates is of paramount importance if scaffolders are going to achieve the best outcomes.
